In this podcast we look at the dramatic rise and fall of the Society of Jesus.  In some ways Ignatius Loyola is the opposite of John Calvin. Loyola was a radical semi-Pelagian in contrast to John Calvin. At a time when Calvin was leading a reform movement in Geneva that led the medieval church away from Roman Catholic spirituality, Ignatius Loyola was repristinating medieval, ascetic spirituality.
